Ink fingerprinting on an FD-258 Hard Card. If you have a Fingerprinting card that was provided for you by the agency that is requesting fingerprints, please bring this with you. Otherwise, we can provide an FD-258 Fingerprinting Card for you at no extra expense however, you will need to know the ORI number of the agency or company that is requesting fingerprints. A wipe will be provided to remove the ink from your hands once the process is complete. Ink Fingerprinting is usually required when you are not currently in the state that is requesting fingerprints and a background check.
